With regard to Hurricane Odile, Ruben Flores is a resident of Laguna Beach, and has another home in the San Jose del Cabo area. He is collecting donations mentioned to submit to a transport company in Tijuana, which will take supplies to Los Cabos. Items needed: cell phone chargers, batteries of every type, car cell phone chargers, iphone cell phone chargers, cleaning supplies, clorox, trash bags, trash cans, dust masks, mosquito repellant, tarps, rope, saws, nails, hammers,tents, sleeping bags, camping supplies, etc.
Remember Newport Beach Sister Cities has a sisterhood relationship with Cabo San Lucas and Baja, Mexico.
Laguna Nursery has kindly offered to accept donations at their landmark nursery business site, LBSCA will accept CHECK donations (NO CASH PLEASE).
